GUESS WHO'S BACK!

We thought we'd thinned the herd of Alveys feeding at the public trough, and guess what? He wants back in at BPU. That's the most rediculous idea I can think of.

His website makes picking apart his record way too easy. Let's take a look:

• Under "BPU Board Experience" he lists "Oversaw hiring of General Manager"
  Would that be William Johnson, the GM with a FEDERAL COURT JUDGMENT against him for EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION in his previous position at BPU (who was actually "hired" in 2019, after you were Mayor? The same GM that subsequent boards gave the most obscene pay raise in the history of Wyandotte County?
• Under "Pride in Our Work" he says he's all about "Increase transparency in Board decision-making"
  Johnson was hired with full secrecy to the ratepayers, despite his past.
• In the same section he says he's all about "Maintain high professional standards and ethics"
  read about how his "ethics" seem to be rather flexible here.

You know how we could have a BPU we could all be proud of? Say NO to Alvey - again.
